On June 18, 2026, the International Automotive and Supply Chain Expo (Hong Kong) officially kicked off at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. As a global leader in new energy commercial vehicles, Geely Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group (Geely Farizon) returned for its second consecutive year with a full product lineup featuring the "methanol electric + pure electric" technology roadmap. As an international metropolis, Hong Kong has proactively proposed the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. Transportation is the second-largest source of carbon emissions across all sectors, making the development of green transportation in Hong Kong a top priority. Currently, Hong Kong is one of the fastest-growing markets in the world for new energy vehicles. At the same time, Hong Kong’s reality of high population density, limited land and scarce energy resources constrains the construction of infrastructure such as charging stations. Geely Farizon has developed a methanol-electric commercial vehicle product matrix tailored for Hong Kong. Among them, the U12M methanol-electric bus has already received emission-exemption approval from the Hong Kong EPD and will launch commercial operations in August. This signifies that Geely Farizon's methanol-electric products meet Hong Kong's stringent environmental standards and will underpin the global rollout of methanol-electric technology. At the same time, Geely Farizon is also accelerating the rollout of methanol-electric light trucks, vans, and heavy trucks, emerging as a key driving force in advancing green land transport transformation for Hong Kong's public transportation and urban logistics.

而在非道路领域,甲醇电动技术将充分发挥甲醇能源排放清洁、燃烧高效、补能便捷的优势,为香港多场景提供综合方案。针对香港充电桩布局少且不平衡的痛点,远醇移动电源车可实现24小时以上不间断供电,支持4辆电动车同时补能,成为解决高峰充电排队问题及偏远地区补能困难的最优解。甲醇发电机组燃料成本较燃油节省32%、较燃气节省10%,可在山区、港区等复杂环境,以及医疗、通信、交通等肩负城市保障重任的行业提供稳定的电力支持。全国甲醇电动船舶已有超60艘下水或在建,未来吉利远程也将加速推进以甲醇电动渡船替换现有燃油渡船,减少水上运输的排放、噪音污染。
In non-road sectors, methanol-electric technology will fully leverage the advantages of methanol energy—clean emissions, efficient combustion, and convenient recharging—to provide comprehensive solutions for multiple scenarios in Hong Kong. Addressing Hong Kong’s pain point of limited and unevenly distributed charging piles, the Visionol mobile power supply vehicle can deliver uninterrupted power supply for over 24 hours and support simultaneous charging of up to four electric vehicles, making it the optimal solution to resolve peak-hour charging queues and recharging difficulties in remote areas. Methanol generator sets offer fuel cost savings of 32% compared to diesel and 10% compared to natural gas. They can provide stable power support in complex environments such as mountainous areas and ports, as well as in critical urban service sectors including healthcare, telecommunications, and transportation. Across China, over 60 methanol-electric vessels have already been launched or are under construction. In the future, Geely Farizon will accelerate the replacement of existing fuel-powered ferries with methanol-electric ferries to reduce emissions and noise pollution from marine transport.

车博会开幕当天,吉利控股集团举办“绿色城市,智慧城市——吉利绿色能源+智能出行科技生态发布会”,期间吉利远程新能源商用车与曹操出行进行战略签约,并携手智能驾驶、公共出行等上下游产业战略伙伴共同启动未来绿色智慧城市。根据协议,到2030年,双方将累计投放10万辆吉利远程旗下Robovan神童T6,以绿色能源与智能出行的科技生态协同共建绿色智慧城市。
On the opening day of the International Automotive and Supply Chain Expo (Hong Kong), Geely Holding Group held the "Green City, Smart City — Geely Green Energy & Intelligent Mobility Technology Ecosystem Launch Event" during which Geely Farizon and CaoCao signed a strategic agreement. Together with strategic partners across upstream and downstream industries covering intelligent driving and public mobility, the two sides jointly unveiled the Future Green and Smart City. Under the agreement, the two parties will have cumulatively deployed 100,000 units of Geely Farizon's Robovan Shentong T6 by 2030, leveraging the tech ecosystem synergy between green energy and intelligent mobility to jointly build green smart cities.
